News of the suppression and the resistance in Rolpa   District

Poush-21 (Jan.-7) 500 Commando police searched and looted all the wards of Ota VDC and Jhinuwa and Tusharapani of Ghartigoun. At that time police arrested and shot Surya B.K.a son of Martyr Sarve B.K. who was purchasing  goods at a shop of Jhinuwa. The police raped 33 women of Ota and Ghartigoun VDC who were collecting and cutting grass. They looted hundreds of thousand of good and cash from the People.
 

Poush 19 (Jan.-) the police killed a ordinary peasant when he came out of his house for toilet at night, he was shoted at Thulopani of Harjung VDC. Likewise in Juntungkhola of Sirpa VDC 300 police surrounded and arrested ordinary peasants- Surya Pun, Sabiram Khadka, Prem Pun, Durge Pun and Durga Budha including other several peasants and left them after serious torture. 20s of women raped. Only alone at Sirpa VDC police destroyed 13 houses and looted valuable property from 50s houses.

Poush 20 (Jan.- ) Afternoon, the Police captured a woman named Pura Roka of Jelbang who was returning from Chhaharesung of Harjung after visit her relatives. She was murdered after gang-raped in a terrible manner by police. In Alibang of Pang VDC Police murdered a peasant (name unknown) of Vadachaur Purbakojyang was on the way to back home after visit his relative. The police also raided all the houses of 6 wards of Pang VDC where they looted equal to 200 thousands of Gold/Silver, Cloths, Goats, Chickens (Cocks) etc.
 

Poush 23 & 24 (Jan.- ) Police launched search operation at Kasala of Jaimakasala VDC, Bhawang, Dhanwang VDC and Khiwang of Jelwang VDC. On this day 25 women suffered through gangraped and looted an equal of 500 thousands property. In Jan. 8 police set fire on cloths and grains in to the house of Ram Bahadur B.K., Dhanawang of Gajul VDC. Police raped 5 women who were going to make grass at Jugle of Dhaulawang. On the same day, 4 wards of Buda VDC were searched, looted and women were raped by 500 police from Holery, Jugar, Ghartigoun police-post of Rolpa and Kapurkot of Salyan district.16 women were gang-raped and police destroy their all cloths. Property from 50s houses including valuable Ornaments, Goats and meat was looted by police.

Poush 26 (Jan.10 ) police seriously injured old peasant Rajiman Budha. He was living at his home. At this time police broke dozens of locked houses and looted. From 7 houses, there was nothing left out of un-portable pots. Some women of this village also suffered with gang-rape by the police of His Majesty the government.

Likewise, we got news of running police operation in Syauliwang, Damri, Ligha, Phabi, Jumrikanda, Vingri, Korchawang, Dhovaghat, Tiram VDCs of Pyuthan district, the neighbour district of Rolpa.

The Resistance Actions By Maoist Guerrillas 

Paush 26 (Jan-10) 6 policemen seriously been injured when guerrillas attack in to the operation team of police at Dhawang village.

Poush 28 (Jan.-12) all the policemen ran-away from the Kotgoun police post when Maoists chanting slogans with firing in to the police post for an hour.

Poush 19 (Jan 3) The Maoists attacked a police patrol team which ranaway from Gajul VDC. In another incident two sentry of Sirpa police post fallen down on a bomb attack. The guerrillas annihilated two police spies because they informed and brought police about the Maoist military training centre of Sukidaha of Iriwang where 11 brilliant guerrillas got martyrdom during the broke-down of encirclement. 1000 police commandos encircled this camp. There are hundreds of torch rallies, firing rallies and other actions going on everyday against the campaign of murder, rape, loot and repression.
