News From The Battlefield

Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) started the People’s War since 13^th of February 1996 to establish the Peoples Republic of Nepal. This 13^th of February the People’s war completed it s four year and entering in to fifth year. The starting of fifth year is one of it s important step in the Nepalese as well as world communist history. Near the fifth anniversary several actions have taken places and during the breaking of encircalment and  annihilation campaign of the people by the state. Among thousands of actions some are here:-

January 28- Rukum/ one policeman died and other four seriously injured when sudden battle brokeout between police patrol team and maoist Guerrillas in Bijeswary of Rukum district. The incident was ended after the putdown of weapons and ran-away the rest of the policemen. It is not mentioning how much guerrillas gained.

January 30- Gorkha/ the news is reported that a constable Shiva Paudel has lost his life in an ambush betweenBunkot and Namjung of Gorkha where the Political bureau alternative member Com. Suresh Wagle with other friends were killed after arrested.

February- 2  Maoist guerrillas attacked the commando striking force at Rampur, between Dang and Salyan district. In this attack three policemen killed and 14 others including Inspector have injured. The guerrillas gained 16 rifles, 2 pistols, a communication set and heavy amount of ammunition. After the captured of camp and policemen they destroyed the police-post and released arrested polices with a primary first aid to the injured cops.

February 9- Lamjung/ 5 policemen have been died and two others have been injured in an ambush in Bhalayakharka of (Duredanda) Lamjung 150 kilometer from Kathmandu. This is  one of such district where dozens of district leaders and worker of mass organizations were murdered after captured by the police and goons together. The guerrillas gained all the arms what policemen were carried according to news. They were going to suppress a mass meeting programme.
