Nepal/ The responsible squade of world communists movement, the CPN(Maoist) which initiated people’s war 5 years ago, successfully completed its second national conference around the 5th anniversary of people’s war, the third week of february. Party’s first conference was held in 1995 which stepped up the process of new democratic revolution through the protracted people’s war.

The second conference took very important decisions regarding the Nepalese revolution as well as world proletarian revolution also. The conference ammended some articles of it’s party constitution. The notified changes are the provision of Chairman instead of General secretary. The conference unanimously elected com. Prachanda in a position of Chairman of the party. The chairman is developing as unified leadership of Party, Army and the united front. The conference elected a new central committee and first meeting of the central committee formed a polit-bureau and a standing committee.

The most ever precious step is the synthesisation of the ideology and the political line of the Party. The ideology of the party is summarises as Marxism-Leninism-Maoism and Prachanda Path. The strategical plan of the people’s war is forwarded : strengthen and expand the base areas and the local people‘s democratic power; go ahead towards the formation of central peoples government !

For the solution of the present crisis facing by the country is proposed for all party conference of the representatives of political forces of the coalition of present constitution, political parties, institutions and mass organisations which would elect the interim government and this government would guarantee the formation of new people’s constitution, as a tactical alternative.

The conference passed a political document which explains the mass the (line with experiences of the people’s war. The documents synthesises the co-adoption of the strategic lines of "protracted people’s war and mass armed insurrection" with the analysis of changes after the 80s in the world. It hit the line of mechanical and dogmatic adoption of both the protracted people’s war and armed rebellion which are different in form but same in quality. The historical conference formulated some new concepts regarding the world revolution as well as Nepal while observing whole international communist movement for the new 21st century.

The present world conditions and Nepalese history also analysed broadly in this document. It proposes the international relation and south Asian relation of the revolutionary parties and struggles for the success of revolution in this region which would contribute the world proletarian revolution.

The conference should be the proud for the revolutionaries from the Nepal and all over the world which provides the correct direction to the wave of proletarian world revolution.
