23July/ Kathmandu- After the failure in all his efforts to repress and loot the Nepal and safeguard the interests of his foreign masters US imperialism and Indian expansionism country’s most bloodiest prime minister Criminal Girija Prasad Koirala’s resignation the hope to be in relief for a period of time increased.

Despite the release of 22 policemen, 12 of them arrested from Holleri and 10 others from Ramechhap there was no immediate response from the govenment. Girija has mobilised the army against the Maoist but army was defused by the guerrillas. The release was in response of the Human Rights defenders visit in Rolpa and their requests in humanitarian ground as well as good will gesture for the new government..

On Saturday, the guerrillas of CPN (Maoist) attacked at a area police station in Tehrathum district where two policemen have been killed on the spot and five other injured. From the raid in a station the PGA seized 28 rifles and 2 pistols and communication set. On Sunday afternoon a team of reinforcement came to support there but entrapped in an ambush laid by the guerrillas where 3 policemen killed and other 2 injured seriously. They also surrendered to the guerrillas and hand over their weapons.

The attack was come just before the election of NC parliamentary leader who becomes the prime minister. The observers said the attack came to pressurise not to adopt the next Girija as a new prime minister. The Maoist attacks and the campaign against the government was forced to resign Giirja.

Similarly, since after the few hours the new prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba appointed and gave his speech but didn’t mention any of concrete initiatives the western sub-regional company of PLA attacked the Pandusen area base police camp where 15 policemen including 2 police officers killed on the spot and 2 more died later due to the serious injuries.

PLA captured 53 rifles and huge amount of other war materials from the raid at Pandusen. Bajura is the far-western mountainous district of Nepal. This attack was the one of the pre-planned action against the government.

If the newly appointed PM Deuba don’t take any of concrete initiatives to create conducive environment for the talks the planned actions would be continue, the Party source said. But the chance to develop the situation is expected much from both side.

Deuba is seen as a positive because in the past he asked with the Girija government to halt the offensive and create the conducive environment by releasing the workers and sympathisers of the Maoist party who are imprisoned and disappeared illegally.

Chairman Prachanda earlier issued statement mentioning that the resignation of the criminal Girija is the victory of the people’s struggle legally and unconstitutionally.
