Seven Policemen Die in an Ambush

13th of April/Kathmandu, near the day of Nepalese new year seven policemen including two ASI (Assistance sub-Inspector) havebeen killed and 8 others injured in an ambush attack of new people's Army. A bus which carried 18 Policemen and two other people was caught in a landmine ambush and subsequent attack. According to Information Guerrillas got 16 rifles, 2 pistols and a communication set and some material were destroyed.the incident taken place in Salyan district near Surkhet.

Those who were killed posted in Surkhet. where a weeks ago police killed 5 workers and supporters of Maoist guerrillas. Those 5 peolpe were living in side the house and killed them after arrest. At the beginning they claimed they have arrested three people but later found dead. This incident seen as a revenge.

 The government is going to mobilise all ist reserve power in the name of insurgency control. The government is in deep crisis, it failed to maintain the economic system. Now, the government has taken midterm budget for three months. All the budgets cut from public sector and increased in millitary and police. Already the government has taken about 3 billion overdraft from state bank. To escape out the World Bank and the so-called Nepal aid forum are organizing a meeting in Paris on April 17-19. in this meeting the government is going to propose how to fight with the Maoists. The government has proposal only about to recieve money to strenghten the millitary and bureaucracy. This meeting is going to approve the millitary strategy to kille the people.
