Ashwin 5 Nepal Banda

Kathmandu/Sep.14, The nationwide propaganda campaign for the "Nepal Banda" (Nepal shutdown) on Ashwin 5 (September 21) is speedly spreading. Banda is calling by 9 left groups. The organizers of the Banda launching different kinds of programmes like: pumphlating, postering, miking, corner meetings, surprise rallies, home visit etc. everyday.

The CPN (Maoist), the revolutionary communist party which leading ahead the people's war in Nepal since 4 and half year publicised a statement on support of "Nepal Banda" actively. It escalate the propaganda and the possibility of the complet success of nation wide general strike (Banda).

The 9 lefts are forming the district level of struggle committees in different districts of the country. On 13th of September 9 left parties hanged bigger banners in different cities of the country to make success the nepal Banda. On 19th and 20th of September there are nationwide propaganda actions all over the country, exactly the same day the nepal nation day in expo 2000 is celebrating with the completely hiding of the country's fact and making fool the western people by the nepalese criminal government. These days there will be hundreds of fsurprised demonstrations and 20th of evening at 6.00 o'clock a very big mass torch rally travell the the Kathmandu city starting from the New road gate and would end in Putalisadak. The torch rallies are organising in Patan and Bhaktapur and other parts of the country as well. On the 21st since 5 o'clock the organisers would start the rally from Bhotahity up to 9.00 and afternoon again mass meeting in open theater after the demonstration.

The demands of the Banda are related to the nationality, public lives and democracy including against the state terror, crime, killing of innocent civilians, inundation by the Indian Dams in nepalese side, the presence of Indian army in Kalapani, the western part of Nepal and foreign intervention to hikeing the prices and to create the painful life.

In Germany, against the state terror, massive human rights violations and the collaboration of WB and the western countries to expolit and in human rights violation, there is a protest programme in Hanover. Thousands of leaflets are distributing and the media publication is also going to take place.
