12 Policemen and 7 others killed in Jajarkot

9th of June/ Jajarkot, one of the most effective district of the police repression since the 1994 even before the initiation of people's war. Up to now more than 200 people have been killed by the democratic commando police in this district. The police killed dozens of people in a marriage ceremony, in a programme of school childrens, celebrating a anniversary of school etc. Now the police used child and women to killed guerrillas where guerrillas asked to come out if anybody is inside which house was used by police. No body came but counter firing came from the house where a guerrilla commander and a member killed, then after guerrillas attacked the house from where commandos firing. In this battle the commando officers escaped out and left abducted family by police which guerrillas were not aware and in attacked 21people including 12 police commandos killed.

After the ending of battle police tried to spread the introduced news that guerrillas also killed civilian including children, because of this not only the police guerrillas also violating the humanrights. The yellwo newspapers and news agencies who publish the news which police distribute wrote Maoist are not following the Geneva Convention. The way how they plan is to make unpopular the Maoist guerrillas by making the condition where civilian also killed with police. According to the person who was taken out by guerrillas said the police did not allowed to go out and closed the door.

From this capture of commando striking base camp the guerrillas got the communition sets, 50 rifles, guns, rivolver and ammunitions. After the battle when forces came to support the basecamp was caught in ambush where some policemen were injured. The police air support tried to reach on the spot but other supports only able to reach after 3 days. According to the report thousands of commandos have mobilised in the western Nepal since last week. This is a strong action after the appeal for dialogue by com. Prachand after the central committe plenum before two weeks. According to the rteport some guerrillas also killed in this action. But it is not confirmed up to now.
