12th  July/ Nepal, Today’s Banda (General strike) called by CPN (Maoist) to protest the so-called safety regulations and the murderous and traitor Girija/Gyanendra alliance reported fully success. Streets are emptied of vehicles, schools and universities were remained closed, factories and all the private businesses were not opened. The majority government officials were also not attended. No one went to get state service today.

Today, early morning, The Peoples Guerrillas attacked a area striking base camp in Holleri of Rolpa district killed a policeman, injured two others and more than 60 suspected to be kidnapped. The police sources said that the weapons thereof must have been captured by the Maoists. Holleri police camp near to the northern boarder of Dang district was one of the first target of the initiation of People’s War on 13th of February 1996.

Likewise the PLA raided a Galkot area police station at Harichaur of Baglung district. Harichaur Police station is about 7 hour walking distance from the district headquarter Baglung Bazaar and 4 hour distance from the Tuesday attacked Wamitaksar and Kharbang police post. In Baglung district there is a absence of measurable police force in distance of 100 kilometres.

 Ahead of Banda there were several military raids came to fall on police stations around the country, no one is able to defend itself at Kusum in Banke, Wamitaksar in Gulmi, Bichaur of Lamjung, Takura in Nuwakot, Dhobidanda- Ramechhap and Harichaur (Galkot area police station) of Baglung district. There were several banner and effigy bombs hanged in different places of Kathmandu valley’s most secure places. Police and army experts were busy to defuse and explode them for a week. There were explosions targeting the official residence of Prime minister and chief justice. Bombs were exploded at the houses of Girija and his Daughter Sujata.

A senior most police officer SSP also killed on Tuesday in an ambush by Maoist guerrillas in Dang district neighbouring district of insurgency hit Rolpa district.

More than 45 policemen including officers have been killed dozens injured and about 100 are taken as prisoners of war. All the weapons thereof captured which is nearly 200 of rifles and different guns with large amount of ammunition and communication sets.

There were some business/industries were targeted in capital city and abroad which has links with Gyanendra and Indian compradors.

There were 10 guerrillas got martyrdom during the attack in Lamjung, Nuwakot and Gulmi.

The government has lost the belief from the people. No body is ready to trust the government. The Maoist Party chairman Prachanda has appealed the democratic, leftist, patriots and revolutionaries to come together to strengthen and join the peoples government which is going to form in near future. This would be the first peoples government for the peoples republic of Nepal.

Because the people of country observing the royal massacre as a conspiracy hatched among the US imperialism, Indian expansionism and the domestic traitors of GIRIJA GYANENDRA alliance. The so-called commission made by murderer Gyanendra himself is a further step of a part of conspiracy.

That’s why Chairman Prachanda said there is no meaning of conference of all forces.

The Gyanendra-Girija want to mobilise army immediately as of interest of US-Indian backed interest but doesn’t have enough courage due to the lack of support from monarchist and even ruling party itself. Prime minister Girija is facing corruption charge and the demand to resign from oppositions in Parliament. The leaders of NC and former prime ministers KP Bhattarai and Sher Bahadur Deuba also demanding the resignation and are against the Girija marka fascism.
