The developing seen of struggle in Nepal

After the massive support to the revolutionary struggle by the masses, the operation could not be succeed, and the afraid government’s deputy prime minister planned to visit the 5 districts of the western Nepal, the base areas of the people’s new power. He was going to distribute the policy of one door development system which proposed in the budget 2000/2001. The one door system what the government explaining is all the development through the security forces. For this they proposing integrated development under control of home administration specially in local level under control of chief district officer, police and army officers the media and information only can released from the police headquarter. Just now the communication minister also threatened the independent newspapers and press for publicising the news of Maoist activities which in his opinion helps Maoists struggle. 
 

Since the nation wide resistance programme on 23^rd of August the resistance actions are continuosly coming up. For, instance in Jhapa district the Maoist guerrillas captured a police post where they got 5 rifles and 2 pistols and hundreds of ammunitions. Similarly in eastern region Ilam, Panchthar, Tehrathum, Jhapa, the guerrillas captured the guns from the local feudals and police agents. There are news of the guns hand over by the people to guerrillas also. The Guerrillas captured a Agriculture development bank branch in Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur district. This is the first public action in Mahendranagar. They burnt down the loan negotiation papers outside the office. Similarly, the news from Surkhet the two poice men and a sub inspector of police arrested by the guerrillas this weekend. 
 

According to the news during the deputy prime minister’s visit in Liwang, Rolpa the people’s guerrillas bombed and fired whole his time of meeting. In his meeting which was announced as a public mass meeting no body participated except the government officials and police. The situation in other districts also remained same. In Jajarkot and Kalikot even police stopped ruling party’s members to come district headquarter before a week of his visit in these districts. 
 

But in otherside the Maoist organised a first big and public Mass meeting in Korchawang of Rolpa district where the CPN (maoist) central leader com. Bhrun also addressed the meeting. More than 10000 people participated. The journalists from the capital city also attended in that mass meeting. The Maoists returned valuable ornaments to the owners which they were Captured in a Bank raid the last year in Pyuthan. Rolpa, Rukum, Salyan, Jajarkot; Kalikot etc. districts are now under controle of people's guerrillas. Except the district headquarters and some of VDCs, the Masses exercising the people's power. In the Nepalese History, first time people are experiencing with the fruits of the self manage system. There are elections taking places in the local bodies. Like the "United People's Committees" elections. From the representation ofUPCs, the Oppressed Castes, Nationalities and small and medium businessmen and inndependent personalities elected from their own election forming area government. The area committees representatives and the elected persons from the UPCs members making district people's government. The Police and commandos are not even not sufficient to protect themselves. The villages are making their own political, financial, social etc. institutions to carried out the sustainable development. The government and police is fully excluded from the masses. Now, in liberated areas (base areas) the religious/cultural and linguuistic freedom is providing as much as possible.
 

It shows the strength of the peoples desire towards the process of total change through the New democratic revolution. There is no effect of the imperialists and reactionary medias which is trying to manipulate the people. Because they are practicising what it is the people's poweer. They knew already the corrupt and criminal parliamentary democracy which increased their poverty and exploitation. The government deal with people as only the enemy in the world but acted infront of expansionist and imperialists sinceerly. There is no alternative axcept the self-reliant development through their own power. The false broadcasting of reactionary medias flopped ane after another time because the people have seen what is the reality. It can effect those who lived in reactionary centeres and cut off from the people and the reality. There is another question what kinds of understanding do they have and plan for the people. The future is bright in front of the people if they reliant upon them but not on the others who rulled and exploited since centuries and wanted to continue forever.
