Finally something positive is happening in this
case.
Due to the hard work of the team of Appeal Attorney Joseph Spero
the presentation of the case before a three judges panel led to a granting
of an Evidentiary Hearing of Fernando´s case.
There are now signed petitions and support letters from various
delegates of the European Parliament, the Italian Parliament, the Belgian
Parliament, the British Parliament; as well as from many human rights organizations
and support groups for Indigenous Peoples such as AISIA (Brittanny), NItassinan/CSIA
(France), Pukwana (Italy), Kiwani - Il Risveglio (Italy), and For Mother
Earth Indigenous Working Group (Belgium); and from the Osage-French Cultural
Exchange, author Auhe Vahakangas (Finland), the Faculty of Theology at
the Catholic University Leuven (Belgium) -- to name a few --; and over
18,400 people worldwide...
Please keep those petitions coming, either by regular mail or
by email.
All documents of support will be presented to the court at
a later date (there's no date set yet for the evidentiary hearing).
